We are all now officially Math Detectives in 2nd grade!! The students worked very hard digging for clues within their math problems to help them solve their problems.? Remind them to use the strategies we learned today to help them with their homework (reread the problem,? underline the question,? circle the clues/numbers they need to solve the problem).

?I am so proud!! Everyone in our class has 10 points or higher on AR!! We celebrated today with ice cream, cookies, popcorn,? and a movie!!

3rd grade gathered leaves and then we decided on classifications for the leaves. ?We created diagrams that will be on display in our classroom. ?Classifications included; smooth leaf margin, jagged leaf margin, waxy texture, rough texture, smooth texture, parallel veins, and netted veins.
